Mountain Pine Ridge Nature Tour

pine ridge

Description

Explore the picturesque Mountain Pine Ridge Belize’s oldest and largest forest reserve. This special and unique forest reserve is a sharp contrast to Belize’s lush tropical landscape, where pine trees, scenic mountain views and cool, serene waters surround the reserve.

This tour starts with a visit to the tallest waterfall in Central America, the majestic 1,000 foot falls which cascades an impressive 1,600 ft., taller than the name implies. The views of the magical 1,000 foot can be seen from afar where there is a lookout point where you can feel the magic this waterfall brings. After enjoying the views of 1,000 foot falls, we then explore Rio Frio Caves, one of the top attractions in the Pine Ridge area.  The Rio Frio caves is one of Belize’s best caving systems which greets visitors with an amazing 65 foot entry and its many fresh water pools, waterfalls, and stalactite formations. You will be able to explore and enjoy this cave system before heading to enjoy a quick dip to the Rio On Pools. The last stop on this magical tour is a visit to Black Rock Falls where guests will also have the option to swim as well. This tour provides a packed lunch and drinks.
