Description

Take an adventurous tour down the Belize River and explore the waters and natural flora and fauna through the protected Iguana reserve area through lovely villages of western Belize.

Our guests will be picked up at their accommodation or agreed upon location within San Ignacio and Santa Elena town limits, then taken to the Macal River Bank near the Hawksworth Bridge. Guests will be given a quick canoe paddling tutorial and provided with life vests prior to embarking on their canoe. Guides will take our guests downstream through the scenic Macal River, after a few minutes you will arrive at a point where the Mopan and Macal River join to form the Belize River. The tour continues through the villages of Santa Familia and Esperanza, to enjoy the beautiful flora and fauna, and will end at Happy Acres Farm in Billy White Village.
