The accommodations included will have you staying in a twin or single bed room with optional air conditioning (air conditioned room is $100 extra for the week). The resort features an on-site private swimming pool, fully stocked bar with Fuzzball, Pool table, Nintendo WII, Big Screen TV, Poker Three nights per week. What makes Belize Kayak Fishing on Ambergris Caye so popular?

With typical skiff fishing you're in a large skiff that cast a large shadow. You have a guide on a polling platform casting a larger shadow. and you have the noise of the engine and when polling, the waves slapping against the hull. All of these factors and more spook these already extremely skittish fish. Kayak Fishing allows you to cover as much ground as a polling flats boat yet in a more stealthy manner. Less fish spooked mean more fish caught. You typically will spend the first thirty to forty minutes paddling to your fishing grounds. Once you're there you can easily work areas and get in closer than even a flats boat can reach. Also, due ot the low mass of a fishing kayak you can get between mangroves and other structure that a flats skiff couldn't attempt. Remember, in Belize you can not harm, run-over, or touch mangrove or mangrove shoots. And last but certainly not least the average cost of renting a guide and skiff per day - PER PERSON can range from $275 US to $350 US - PER DAY! That means for five days of fishing you're looking at, between $1,375 to $1,750. That's without accommodations and extras incidentals. And an average all-inclusive package will run you between $2,500 to $4,000 per week.

We can provide you with fishing equipment (rod, reel, line, leader, tippet, clippers) if needed for an additional fee of $50.00 per day - per fisherman / fisher woman. You can also purchase Local Fly patterns tied by us for the various species and their likes and dislikes for $3.00 to $4.00 per flie (depending on the complexity of the pattern).

Belize Kayaking Fishing Trip Schedule:

Each day you'll rise and have a chance to eat breakfast and pick-up snacks to take out on the flats with you. You'll be take to the drop point for that days fishing and allowed to gear-up. You'll put-in and be off to fish around 7:30 or 8:00 each day. You will typically be back to the resort around 4 to 4:30 pm. After pick-up you'll be taken back to the resort to clean-up and spend your evening exploring the town of San Pedro or you can stay on the resort and enjoy the amenities there.

All Kayak Fishing Packages are in United States Dollars. No Packages include the extra price of renting fishing equipment or upgrading to and air conditioned room. All prices are PER PERSON with the above mentioned equipment included and accommodations. Please Read Our Cancellation Policy Below:

All reservations require a 50% deposit to reserve the dates for your stay. With today's non-refundable airline tickets and package trips, travel insurance is very inexpensive (about 5%-8% of the total trip cost) and covers medivac and other situations that your personal insurance doesn't cover.

If canceling a trip please be aware that NO money will be refunded unless we can rebook the dates for the same calander period as your stay. Again, trip insurance is an inexpensive way to protect your trip investment and highly recommended. Compare Travel Insurance

 

Catch & Release:

We practice catch and release with all fish species we target. Also, Belize recently passed a protected species act that covers Permit, Tarpon, and Bonefish to protect our fisheries for future generation fishermen and fisherwomen.
